Dokkaebi
Dokkaebi is about a young mythical creature called Dokkaebi, who must care for a baby to prove himself worthy of becoming a guardian spirit — but in learning how to nurture, he discovers what powers he truly needs.
As Director of this CG animated short, I developed the project from pitch to final render—crafting a cohesive visual and emotional tone that aligned with current industry storytelling trends. Throughout production, I led a team of artists across concept, modeling, rigging, texturing, layout, animation, and lighting, ensuring smooth collaboration and consistent visual quality across more than 40 shots. Beyond directing, I provided hands-on technical support within multiple departments, helping the team deliver polished, production-ready visuals on schedule.
